TRANZFOR programme (2009-2012) - Transferring Research between EU and Australia-New Zealand on Forestry and Climate Change

Workpackage 6 - Project management

Ensure project objectives are fulfilled and deliverables provided according to time schedule through co-ordination of staff exchange and WP activities, and effective dissemination

Description of work

Work will include project management activities and related exchanges, as well as dissemination activities, and will be organised in three main tasks:
  1. organisation of 3 project workshops (kick-off, mid-term, final)

  2. elaboration of annual operational plans of exchange & activities, and preparation of progress reports (interim and final reports for each reporting period)

  3. dissemination including setting-up and maintenance of a dedicated website, production of dissemination material (leaflets, posters) and coordination of project seminars and publications.

The PMT (project management team) will update the exchange scheme jointly on a yearly basis and an annual operational plan of exchange and activities (OPEA) will be prepared at the start of each year. A mid-term review will be conducted to ensure objectives of the programme are being met and that future exchanges in the programme are well planned and resourced. During the project duration, it is anticipated that the PMT will physically meet three times in combination with TRANZFOR workshops; otherwise, quarterly telephone meetings will be organised as necessary.
